Or do Arab lives not count?
You've figured it out!
In our world, there's "us" and "them."
People of Northern European ancestry are "us." People of Latino ancestry are "them."
People of African ancestry are
very "them," unless they're multimillionare entertainers or athletes.
Asians are "us" or "them," depending on whether they can out-do us at being "us."
Of course, in the old days, the Northern Europeans who happened to be Irish were "them." And almost all Mediterranian people were "them," especially the Italians.
But nobody was more "them" than the Jews.
How times have changed!
Now, the ultimate "them" are Muslims. And/or Arabs (the two aren't always synonymous). Except for those Arabs/Muslims with lots of oil wealth, a royal title, and/or membership in the Carlyle Group. Those are "us," even if they seem like "them." But the everyday Arab or Muslim without millions in the bank? Sinister, faceless hordes...not really like
people at all. F*ck "them!"
Which brings us to the current situation:
The Israelis are "us." The Palestinians are "them."
And "they" don't count. Not a bit.
