5. Don't you love how the spin is going
A civilian ship is hit! So of course everyone is supposed to think Hizbollah is attacking Israeli civilians.

Truth A misfire hit an Egyption ship.

6. In targeting Haifa, Hezbollah targeted civilians.
It's a standard thing they do; the only reason it's considered a good thing is that Hezbollah's attempted murders usually stop at attempted. But when they succeed it's not a problem; it's 'resistance.'

However, the spin will most likely be in many quarters that when Hezbollah shoots at a military and hits civilians, it's a perfectly fine thing. Suddenly the term 'collateral damage' acquires moral crystal clarity.

Target civilians ... ok; target the military, a good thing; target military, civilians, regrettable, but a guy's got to kill what a guy's got to kill.

8. They both target civilians
There is no 'good' side in this war. Or was that beach in gaza that the israeli's shelled full of suntanning terrorists?

Both sides are culpable of murder, imho.

7. Misfire? Nonsnese
The concensus is that these are rockets, which means you point it in the direction you want them to go and launch. No terminal guidance or seeker (that would make it a missile). If its down range, by definition you are targeting it, or at least willing to damage it.

It it got to a ship, reagardless of nationality, it was not a misfire...it was just being an unguided rocket.
