Scotland Yard investigating Tony Blair re selling peerages

Lord Levy, who was arrested and questioned last week by police in the cash-for-peerages investigations, has told friends it was not his idea, but “Number 10’s” to conceal cash donations by wealthy donors by hiding them as commercial “loans”.
The revelation, believed to have formed part of Levy’s statements to Scotland Yard under caution, will unnerve Tony Blair and his senior Downing Street aides, who are now preparing for the Prime Minister himself to be questioned.

Levy’s recollection of events to detectives investigating the alleged sale of peerages centres on the period last year when Labour were struggling to fund the coming general election.
