10. I feel so bad that we have no power to help her.
The war criminals have taken control of our government, and are deaf to the cries if the innocents, like your cousin.

May God keep her, and ALL her family, safe. :grouphug:

5. I believe Hiro is in Lebanon or is in regular contact with family there.
I believe he mostly posts in the Lounge, from what I've seen. To the kind souls who repost links to his messages there in GD, GD:P I again wish to express my gratefulness. I generally treat The Lounge the same way most people treat I/P.

7. Hiro's parents, brother, other family and friends are there
Hiro is in the US, but is able to talk to family in Lebanon...at least, until the communications infrastructure goes down.

6. Sort of
I am from Lebanon originally and am in contact with family and friends there. They are doing OK and don't plan on leaving. I haven't been there in years but I love Lebanon

8. I have heard it (Beruit) is a beautiful city

Thinking good thoughts for the residents there. I can't imagine how stressful it must be right now.

(Extending the same thoughts for the Israeli people caught up in this conflict).

16. I'm fairly sure pelsar is in Israel,
and I think eyl is, as well.s They're in I/P, but I've seen eyl and pelsar range out of the dungeon from time to time. :-)

One--perhaps neither of those two--lives in an area in the south; I seem to remember concern over Qassam rockets in one post that was more than "it's happening elsewhere, but doesn't directly affect me."

I'm unaware of any being in the far north of Israel.

I'm also unaware of any in Lebanon.

19. Ack! Sunlight!
Yeah, I live in Israel:hi:, as does pelsar. Luckily, I'm out of range of both the Palestinians' (so far) and Hizbullah's rockets, but I have family in Haifa.

18. Me
I'm a former resident of Lebanon, and my family is still there, quite possibly awaiting extraction by the US government.
