With Huffington, Kinsley, and 2 or 3 more people? One journalist from the New Yorker, I don't recall his name, said that bloggers were like "parasites" feeding off the NYTimes and the large papers. He thought that papers should charge more for their information. He compared it to HBO charging a huge amount and all he watched was Entourage...Arianna responded that bloggers were growing quickly and that they would soon have their own investigative reporters and would not have to use papers like the NYTimes, etc... Anybody have any thoughts about bloggers being "parasites"?

2. Did anyone point out that the MS press almost always have their stories
wrong or print misinformation?

4. There oughtta be a sort of AP for blogs--
if all the interested bloggers could get together & fund a few Palast-class reporters, it would reall blow the lid off the corporate press. To take the idea a step further, could you imagine--in a few years, with the significantly improved technology we're likely to have by then--web videocasts of the news the corporate whores won't cover?

MSM doesn't wanna tell the truth about the state of affairs in the nation, well, we could run it ourselves.

5. What a great idea!
An AP or UPI for bloggers. Maybe we can hire Helen Thomas again?

6. I wish I had some idea of how to turn this into a reality.
I also wish I had the time & energy to do something about it.
Maybe I'll start a new thread to see if I can interest people around here in doing it. Th first obvious step would be to get together a list of bloggers who might be interested & contact them.

7. Unionize them.
and work together for the common good. How that could be done would be the devil in the details.
