So if Christians are believing that the rapture is right around the corner
As they do on the website below, wouldn't that most likely make Bush the Antichrist, according to the book of Revelations? After all, he is responsible for much of the destruction going on in the world right now.

And considering that they most likely voted for him. Twice. How in the hell does supporting the Antichrist guarantee you a ticket to heaven?

2. Actually, no
Because Preznit Potty-mouth isn't trying to bring "Peace." One of the hallmarks of the Beast, according to these bizarre little Biblonians, is that he will bring "Peace." The bringer of Peace is a horror to them. That's what makes them so thoroughly, psychotically twisted.

War and death and mayhem and misery are all OK to them. It's Peace that's troublesome. Only more war, more viciously waged can make Yeshua get in his Holy Rolls and "Come on DOWN" to whip ass, culminating in His slaughter of the Jews who don't confess Him.

Really. No kidding. They're like that.

If anyone else espoused that kind of thing in this country, they'd be hounded to the ends of the earth, and deservedly so. But these sick bastards just get a tax exemption.

6. They don't see it that way
Theirs is but to wait and someday fly away.

Their votes were cast in a spirit of Godliness and they will be rewarded accordingly. All that "Good and faithful servant" stuff.

4. You notice some on these morons have been feeling this way for "years" ?
It seems their "Lord Jesus" hasn't been in any hurry to scoop them up. One guy has been "waiting" for 25 years! And why are they tending to things around the house to get ready? If they are going to vanish to heaven why should they care about"little things around the house? Honestly these people need to be committed. They get on my last nerve!

8. But one guy on that thread even quit his job so he can celebrate
the rapture with his family. I wonder what they're going to do when the rapture doesn't come, but the bankers do come to take his home away when he can't pay the mortgage.

10. Would you want to scoop them up if you were Jesus?
Imagine having to live for eternity with that bunch! There aren't enough harp strings to drown them out.

9. The rapture's been right around the corner for about 2000 years
Christianity is largely about death and the afterlife and a lot of the theology developed into being obsessed with the rapture. Predictions for the end of the world have been 'right around the corner' since before Jesus came along and every time they're proven wrong (by viture of not having happen), a new prediction comes along and the old one is cast away and forgotten.

(Note: this was not intended to be offensive for any Christians who may read this and I apologize for any offense taken)
