One simple question to ask Republicans

Would you be comfortable...
if a Democratic president was listening in on your phone calls?
if a Democratic president proposed a nominee for the Supreme Court who wanted to greatly increase the power of the Presidency?
if a Democratic president was administering the Patriot Act?
if a Democratic president appointed unqualified cronies to important government posts?
if a Democratic president was giving tax dollars to faith-based organizations?
If a Democratic state secretary of state was in charge of the touch screen voting machines?
etc.
etc.

If your answer is NO, then it is a bad policy and you should oppose it. This is a simple smell test for any bill, policy, etc. If you wouldn't want the opposition party to have that power, then it is unfair, unAmerican and probably unconstitutional policy.

I, enter your name, do give up all my Constitutional rights* necessary in support of the Federal Government's 'War on Terror'. I freely give up these rights indefinitely no matter if a Republican or a Democrat is the President. I will not criticize the President no matter their party as long they are fighting the 'War on Terror'.
