Stem Cell Veto: Great News!
Yeah at first I was pissed that Shitferbrains OK's legislation authorizing bridges to nowhere but vetos the biggest no-brainer ever brought before him...but talk about Karma. Even my freeper friends are distancing themselves from Dimson.

This IDIOT just gift-wrapped a wedge issue for the Dems. Of course, the Dems not fucking this up is a whole other matter, but it's right here on our doorstep. Every poll I've run across is running 4-1 in favour of federal funding for stem cell research.

Happy Birthday everyone! :hi:

4. Polls Mean Little In A Facist State
I don't think they care much about polls. Only about themselves and their "friends."

We'll have to see exactly what, if anything, the Dems are able to do with this. I don't have much faith in them.

7. Need to see the list of the way the reps voted then
oust them in November. I agree it would be a good wedge issue.

8. Thanks for saying this. I was just crying at the thought of the veto
but now I realize that come November the prospect of Dems taking over is now all but certain.

I was really upset because my mother called when I was crying and when I told her what happened she said it didn't matter and research is still going on. She will NEVER criticize that man. It is sickening but I think she has that( forgive my inadequate explanation) Authoritarian Complex that is explained in the new book about the bankrupt morals of conservatives. Can someone remind me who wrote that book that is just on the shelves? The author was on Olberman and he explained how some people will follow evil beings into Hell because they were taught to believe in authority 100% and not question anything.

9. John Dean: Conservative w/o Conscience?
Not sure but it rings a bell. Sorry about your Mom - that must be really frustrating.
