Did anyone catch the re-run of Randi Rhodes on C-Span?

It just ran a couple of hours ago.

Anyway, in further proof of the sleazy passes media gives the Wrong-wing, they editted out the precious part where that sleazy hypocritical twit Janet Parsall stuck her fingers in her ears and started "Lalalalalalalalalala"-ing.

Mustn't let the world see wingnuts in their natural state! Naughty-naughty!

I missed this rerun, but I saw the original broadcast and some repeats at that time.

They do tend (and trend) right wing, with the head dog as the worst offender. I often find it so exasperating that, with the obvious intellectual capability they represent, they are so uncomfortable with addressing their own proclivities, retreating into the bs cave of, "If we are attacked by both left and right as being biased, we must be doing it right."
I only stick with viewing the cspan offerings because the others are so offensively much worse.
They, themselves set up that discussion as a battle, otherwise they'd have interviewed the participants separately. The scene with that brainless twit sticking her fingers in her ears so as not to hear any dissension was so indicative of the entire r/w philosophy that it became the heartbeat, the very essence and point of that particular discussion. What a bunch despicable hypocrites!

Where what's his name asked her some questions and she talked at some length about the incident.

I don't know if they have separate feeds for the east and west, but I saw the "lala" thing here in the east.

and they edited out the la-la's. In the original, Parsall started that stupidity after Randi called her on the carpet over Bush and the revocation of the Davis-Bacon Act. They broke away for one of their "essay contest" winners.

It was journalistically dishonest on C-Span's part. Run it all or run none. But don't "help" one side or the other.

But I knew about it from DU of course. I saw the "lady" stick her fingers in her ears and say "I can't hear you" -- it was very silly. Maybe they shortened that part on edit, I can't say.

I bet liveoaktx has the clip at his canofun site. Janet is the same woman involved in the recent John Gibson mess where he said that people will have to answer for following the wrong religion. It was on Janet's radio show. Keith Olbermann played the clip during his answer to Gibson's complaint about Keith calling him out as worst person in the world one night. Janet then quoted the bible, or so she though, and Keith corrected her as well.

Hey Janet, get a clue. Time to retire!

I had not seen Janet Parshall before, and I kept thinking that she, with her pasted on "sincere" smirk, has to have been the model for The Church Lady!
