Some suggest they already are, and always have been, but when will we officially start sending in troops? Or will we?

We are the world's number one weapons supplier, we sell to anybody, and we play both sides against the other all the time.

But when will W declare that we must militarily support Israel? This being an election year with nothing to lose and the house and senate to maintain, anything goes.

3. I don't think we will - directly
But of course by not allowing a cease-fire, we are already providing critical support to Israel. And some Neo-Cons see this as the ideal pretext to invading Iran.

4. Sky News are starting to report
that Ms Rice has a plan. May depend on Israel providing guarantees to exclude shoe shops from being targeted by their bombs.

Aside from that if you keep an eye on Sky's website you'll get that news when it appears :

8. Yes - but over here in the UK
they are perfectly straight with the news - they need to be because of the BBC and ITV news channels. They would otherwise look ridiculous. At present they are providing by far the most uptodate news coverage from out there.

7. War Powers Act no impediment
Congress can really do nothing to stop the neocons. The War Powers Act merely says he has to "consult" with congress, but can go ahead and attack even if 90% of congress is against war. The only restraint is that Congress can stop the war after 60 days.

12. How could he convince the sheeple, though?
Seriously, what does the average American get out of the defense of Israel? Let them defend themselves, is what I'd say.
