CNN babbling about the firestone recall

Saying that some people didn't turn in their tires. Who cares? The tires belong to the people that own them if they didn't or don't want to turn them in they don't have to.

1. Now THAT is some important news, CNN!
Thanks. Don't bother with that war stuff, or the criminal president. Worry about people who didn't heed a recall notice. :eyes:

2. Isn't there a blond missing in the Bahamas or something ?
On a bright note, we complied with a safety recall of our microwave a few years ago. The part of the letter about potentially setting our house on fire caught my attention.

4. I heard the latest big (manufactured) stink regarding the Firestone
recall involved spare tires that didn't get switched out back when this first happened.

WTF?!? At this point, those spare tires need to be replaced anyway, due to age. If you are driving a 1999-2000 model car with original tires, they need to be replaced regardless of mileage! Tires age with time, and can be unsafe just because they're old.
