Comment might cost teacher his job
A comment by a Wisconsin teacher about 9/11 saying it was orchestrated by the US in order to justify war might just cost him his job. A petition by some state Senators are calling for his dismissal.

1. There are a lot of people saying that....seriously when it happened
I thought "damn, how did George do that".. because I knew he wanted a little war to wage.. stupid little Napolean, hope he gets syphilis..
In a few years it will be a special on the history channel or A&E about what exactly happened. Like all the JFK stories we hear now.

this is toooo strange.. i will Never believe they didn't at least let 911 happen, the Mossad was there with cameras when the planes hit..they were reported by a woman from an upper window on top of a moving van chearing. they were held for a while and deported., dont this is a true story. google:Mossad film 911.

but i dont believe the buildings were set with charges.. i think perhaps the buildings were defective and would have had to be torn down and this was just a good way to start a Fascist dictatorship and save some money tearing them down

they just let it happen

12. If you watch Steve Jones' (BYU) lecture
Edited on Sat Jul-22-06 09:06 AM by Juniperx
and the enlarged video clips, you can easily see the plumes of smoke from the charges.

No doubt in my mind that this was done on purpose. And a building (WTC #7) that was 300 ft. away, fell... and again you can see the charges going off.

I just watched the whole thing. I didn't learn anything new, but I'm happy to see all that information in one spot presented by an obvious LDS conservative.

15. No, air pressure does not create the flash of an explosive charge
You see the flash before you see the plume of smoke...

2. First Amendment = Freddom of Speech?
Edited on Sat Jul-22-06 07:05 AM by wake.up.america
Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

11. Freedom of speech is not unlimited
The "Amendment I" of our Constitution applies only to the federal government

The teacher was a moron for saying what he did. The state which employs him has to right to kick his ass out the door.

I don't agree that they should, but as a teacher he should have known better than to peddle "tin hat" conspiracy theories in the classroom.

4. You're right. However ironically, he COULD be dismissed as a teacher
were he employed in a PRIVATE school. The only thing saving this teacher's constitutional right to speech is the fact that he is a public employee via the public school system. There are two standards of free speech.

6. old news
the university has already announced that he is teaching his Islam course again this fall. He is not tenured. Our stupid (Democratic) governor weighed in on the wrong side of this.

The teacher is very involved in the 911 movement.

8. Conspiracy prof
University of WIsconsin-Madison lecturer Kevin Barrett has done more than make a comment about US complicity in 9/11. He's teaching it.

The Sheboygan (Wisconsin) Press (A Gannett paper) says in an editorial that Barrett should be fired.

But check out the comments below the article! Not everybody is rejecting LIHOP arguments.

Gannett is such a shill anymore (and I worked for a Gannett paper in the 90s.)
