Cspan says this was from Tuesday, but I have never seen it. Spector is really pi**ed at Gonzo! In his opening statement Arlan said "this admin is allergic to Professional Responsibility"!

Lehey is pushing Gonzo to the wall and demanding YES OR NO!

1. This will make the third time for me, plus some bits and pieces
and I'm still picking up a few fresh bits. The most telling indicator of the new paradigm is the fact that Speedy had to be sworn in this time. To my mind, for Speedy, himself, this moves him from the incorruptible, chief lawman in the whole country to the normal, subject to foibles and inexplicable jitters in moral rectitude.

I am pleased but not satisfied.

2. I haven't had the opportunity to see it before now. I must say
I'm surprised at how angry Spector is. Pleasantly surprised!

Of course Cornin is asking the questions now, and, as usual, they're very supportive of the admin!

I have no reason to want to watch the Sun AM propaganda shows this week. The guests do not interest me at all, but THIS hearing is interesting to say the least!

3. Actually, MTP was well worth the time.
Russert kicked Bolten's ass clear out into the street.

4. I was just watching Grassley...
and, even if he doesn't agree with the person being questioned, he is polite. He was obviously disgusted with Gonzo and showed more anger than I can remember seeing in the past. He may be a horrible speaker, but if he gets onto someone's case, he won't let up until he gets the truth. As much as he supported this administration in the past, I see a change in his demeanor, which is refreshing.

I wasn't aware that Gonzo had been sworn in, which explains some of his answers being a little more open than in the past. I don't care what the law is in swearing in these guys/gals, but everyone should formally be sworn in...president, or not. JMHO
