2. Looks like it was over money.
"The killing recalled the murder of Roberto Calvi, the Italian financier known as "God's Banker" for his links to the Vatican, who was found hanged from Blackfriars Bridge in London in 1982."

I'd like to know more about the Calvi murder, was the Vatican involved?

Thats why I found this one interesting. That one had a lot of nutty stuff involving masonic lodges and other unreal stuff.

4. I'm beginning to wonder about the bridge symbolism common to both acts
the origin of the term Pontiff --Pontus Maximus: the Great Bridge, a title conceded by Roman Emperors to the Bishop of Rome to help establish the church.

8. The poor fella was tied to Parmalat scandal and P2
Interesting stuff about the bridge, the Pontiff and the murders of Calvi and Roveraro. For the record, the Church may not be involved, but the people helping handle the Church's finances sure seem to deserve some sincere investigation -- not by INTERPOL.

In addition to Opus Dei, the poor banker seems to have been mentioned in connection with the P2 Lodge and the Parmalat Thing.

To be more exact, I need help with Italian...

Almanacco dei misteri d' Italia

P2

EXCERPT...

What Babelfish said:

Word of a banker: Gianmario Roveraro, that it organized for Parmalat the quotation in ag to the end of 1990. "the positioning of the actions - Roveraro tells - had had, before our arrival, some difficulty for a famous reason to all: Tanzi did not pay the suppliers. They knew all between the Emilia and the Lombardy, therefore the banks were on "who live" and prudent the thrifty people ". Tanzi did not pay because the cases of the Parmalat were stente, because - in those 1989 - already it was reduced maluccio. A lot that, hardly two years after the quotation in ag, is forced to ask, with according to increase of understood them, still R-al.mercato fresh money. The increase of understood them is of 430 billions. For the half it would have had it to confer the family of Collecchio. But it made it and, if it made it, where taken the money? "Mah! - Roveraro sighs - Then Tanzi said me that it had reached to the patrimony of the moglie ". For 215 billions? "Therefore he said to me and I believed to it even if began to of the doubts when, endured having after, churches to me like to Sergio lawyer Heir and to Renato Peak (Eridania-Ferruzzi) to leave the place in the board of directors free that gives that moment I have been always composed from relatives of Tanzi or dependent of the Parmalat".
