4. Bombing the Lebanese Army won't make them disarm Hezbollah any faster
What sense does it make by attacking Lebanon's Army when it's Hezbollah firing the Katyusha rockets?

5. If so, It wasn't intentional, you know just ANOTHER mistake.
How many mistakes can one country make in a week? What are they the Keystone Kops?

This are misdeeds, blunders, but not mistakes.

They bombed one last week and killed Lebanese soldiers. This is deliberate no matter what they say.

14. Do you think it is a deliberate provocation?
That's what I'm thinking, ie, they want to pull the whole damn Lebanese govt (along with the Lebanese army) into the fight so they can destroy them. This is not just about Hezbollah -- someone wants a new government in Beirut. Or am I tinfoiling?

Hizbollah is part of the government and Siniora has praised Hizbollah for its role in defending Lebanon. Many senior government men support Hizbollah and they want a puppet government. They are prepared to destroy the country. The US, Britain and Israel will learn.

23. "Why?" is the appropriate question.
But you seem to have an answer within seconds. I don't suppose we'll ever find out why. But that doesn't mean we can't believe.

on MSNBC. I swear Israel has gone mad. I wonder how many Lebanese soldiers were killed. Thanks Bushie for those 5000ton bombs. If Siniora still deals with the US he too is mad.

19. 5000ton would make it larger than several of the destroyers I served on.
Somewhat unwieldy for most aircraft to handle, I would think.

plain and simple. Hizbollah provided pretext. Where is that 'restraint' Tony Snow said the US asked Israel to exercise?
