1. Maybe, but look at how Shrub is hanging his head.
There was a panel on Olberman's Show (I think) the other night, and surprisingly, both agreed that Shrub looked like a broken man when he gave his speech this past week about the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah. They were talking about not only listening to what was being said, but watching the manerizms, and speech tone. Walking away with your head hanging as is the above pic is another indication of that same thing.

2. Or maybe he is just checking to see
if he wore a matching pair of shoes?

Seriously though, I find it hard to believe that bush is capable of embarrassment, shame, guilt or any of those feelings.

3. I doubt the emotion is guilt or shame, but I'm not sure what it is.
I happen to think he really believed HE was right by going into Iraq, and that he would be this super hero who would be reveered in history as being successful in reforming and finally bringing peace to a part of the World that had been waring for thousnads of years. I also think he just might now realize his plan DIDN'T WORK!!!! I see the emotion he is showing more as rejection, failure, and perhapse depression. Certainly all the emotions of a man who had a super inflated ego, and something broke it!
