I heard one of our congress people say last week (a Dem to boot) that they would stand behind Irael because it is our policy and we have treaties. Well, policies and treaties can and should be changed sometimes.

"The Qana bombing is the outcome of (U.S. Secretary State Condoleezza) Rice's trip to the region. Some American officials should be put on trial for the crimes in Lebanon," the official IRNA news agency quoted Asefi as saying."

The only reason I can come up with that none of them have said anything is that it's a dem party policy to stay unified in support of Israel. I'm disgusted at this refusal to break ranks.

I can find no reference to who this organization is run by. I'd like to know. I've read through some of the stuff on the site.

i don't know of any the US has signed with Israel that provide for US to militarily defend them, every time they instigate a war. I believe Scott Ritter, Ray McGovern and others always make this point (the absence of treaties between the US and Israel) in their public appearances, and always comment on the "shock and awe" of audiences that don't know this.
