Chuck Schumer e-mailed me asking for money for the Senate Races
this fall. Why can't Hillary share some of the dough she's sitting on? I guess a potential Presidential run in 2008 is more important than tasking back the Senate now.

1. I will give to the people I choose.
Not a dime to anyone Chuckie chooses for me. I have no truck with either the DSCC or the DCCC or at least not in their current incarnations.

2. Heh Heh Donate to Tasini
The non-DLC candidate running against Clinton. www.tasinifornewyork.org

He's anti-war, pro-labor (President of the National Writers' Union, an AFL-CIO group for 13 years), pro-choice, pro-marriage equality, and grew up in Israel with family on both sides of the Palestinian and Jewish conflict (he's for a 2 state solution).

(BTW I'm not specifically against Clinton, I'm specifically FOR Tasini.)

4. People say "he'll never win." They're probably right. I don't care.
It's a primary. I'm voting my conscience. I don't think he has the money to challenge Clinton. She's backed by Murdoch, he's backed by NYers. I wish politics wasn't a competition between brand names. No wonder why we are where we are.

5. I'm voting Tasini
Is it wishful thinking that a lot of people might do so even if they see his name for the first time in the booth on Primary Day? Everyone needs to get the word out about this guy!
