Nice wording on the "No" response. "He's had his opportunity" or words to that effect. As though you get one chance and it's time to go into seclusion.

47. Don't forget "old news"
"He's old news, and has had his presidential opportunity."

Why not just ask the question, and leave the responses as "yes" and "no"?

busted his ass to change things.

And I agree he has been a very great citizen, but he deserved his fairly elected chance as president.

29. Absolutely, and to this day I don't understand how he could let it go so
easily. He should have "gone to the mattresses" over the coup, judicial or not. I think history will be most unkind to all of us over the lack of reaction to the coup of 2K.

35. I've always figured there were threats made and
he had to be more quiet about the recount. I believe the results were finally announced in Nov. 2001, Gore WON, but 9/11 had "changed" everything.

I hope he gets a chance to punch that nasty little prick in the mouth someday. :) - Said the usually pacifist human.

27. And as a Tennessean whose first political crush was Al Gore,
I believe this is what he'll do - stay out of politics.

I just don't see him giving up all he's worked for OUTSIDE of politics to join that backstabbing, lousy profession again.

26. Kick and comment
Its currently at 42% positive for his running again. Imagine that with no press preping of the populace. If he can get almost half of the vote in Erie without promotion he can win the Presidency nationwise with any effort at all.

I expect to expend a great deal of effort to get him reelected.

37. You have an excellent point there Thom.
I will do whatever I can to help him if he runs again. I've emailed him asking /telling him so several times.

Maybe We the People did not fight big enough to help him in Dec. 2000. If the Mexican citizens recent actions are an indication of their spirit and passion for a fair election, I hope many move here, we need the support to help get the neocons out of Our house!
