Children arrested, DNA tested, interrogated and locked up...

Are the cops in the UK as twisted as the ones we have here in the U.S.? I cant see any reason for this type of treatment couldn't they have just been brought back to their parents and punished by them for any wrongs real or imagined that happened?

Hopefully they will print it, but I looked at the 'terms' - seems like the UK is worse off than the USA regarding free speech. Did you read some of the sycophants who posted comments agreeing with the police? Sick fuckers! :puke:

I was much more polite that I wanted to be, but I signed it "Paul Revere" from "Dystopia, USA," so maybe that is why.

Britain is not a progressive country in many areas. I have family on the continent who complain a lot about how backward the UK is... then again, they say that about each other too. :D

Laws that have been perverted even more than those in the US (if that can be believed)

They took a copy of these kid's DNA - their crime was playing, I seriously doubt they're going to match them to some unsolved crime or something. Are they looking for certain genetic markers or something? Okay that was kind of a tinfoil hat-wearing statement, but WTF?

11. Actually that is WHY these kids were arrested
The plan in the UK is to set up a comprehensive DNA database, so every "crime" no matter how small now results in a DNA sample being taken. The idea is that at some point in the future most if not all UK residents will have been DNA sampled, and those not directly sampled will have relatives who have been sampled.

The end result? Well the up side is solving rapes and murders might become far easier. The downside is if the government ever goes totally facist finding the "enemy" will be far easier than measuring noses.
