Is how biased the coverage of our war on Iraq is. With this war at least they show the results of casualties both civilian and military. With our war they only show US deaths, or deaths by bombings in Iraq, which they portray as somehow disconnected with our attack on Iraq. Of course the truth is, as bad as Saddam was, at least he kept the country from melting down into civil war. Even Bush's father realized that would happen, to his credit.
So the main thing I see from the coverage is that when two parties other than the US (even if one is actually a puppet state) we get more fair coverage. When we are fighting someone else, no matter if we started it, no matter if it has been proved that we have no reason to be there, then we rarely see civilian casualties, or even hear a general figure of how many are killed by our actions. They are, as Chomsky says, unworthy victims.
