O'Reilly discussed several factors that contributed to the "moronic" girl's rape and murder, including that she was drunk and wandering the streets of New York City alone late at night. But in addition to those factors, O'Reilly added: "She was 5-foot-2, 105 pounds, wearing a miniskirt and a halter top with a bare midriff. Now, again, there you go. So every predator in the world is gonna pick that up at 2 in the morning."

The obvious answer is, Billy made some unwise sexual decisions in his time, if he was shot and killed for it, would he have gotten what he deserved? Hate and sex sell, and Billy is selling soap for Fox. Turn him off and your life will be much better.

Surely I can't be the only person to have noticed that O'Reilly is dwelling on the young woman's appearance and not on the fact that she was brutalized, butchered, and discarded in the trash. Certainly O'Reilly's comments reveal a good deal more about the sordid contents of his brain (as well as his apparent lack of humanity) than they do about the nature of this crime.

I seem to recall that Tex Antoine was actually fired for joking about a rape case. Why is O'Reilly still on the air after taking a prurient interest in a tragedy and trying to justify a crime?
