1. I hope there is a good story about how it was a cheap
unkept website, and that story gets wide coverage. I don't think that is Joe's fault, directly, as he probably delegated that task, as most candidates would.

What is Joe's fault is blaming his "political oppenents" for it going down, if there is no real evidence of such.

Be careful with that plan. If he doesn't buy enough bandwith and his site crashes from all your emails, then you might be accused of hacking his site.
