4. I was just listing to CNN on XM and the reporter seemed kind of
upset while talking with airline travelers at Heathrow... "It sounds really calm there..." Passenger, "It is..."


Damn. No story here. No chance to whip up fear. I truly think it is getting so damned transparent that people are sick of it...


...except for the one guy who kept referring to "These dastardly folks..."

9. Well, that's Britain for you.
Terrorism isn't anything new here, at least not the way it is in the states. I've noticed that the fearmongering tactics so effective in the US seem to have little or no traction here. Don't expect Tony's poll numbers to go anywhere as a result of this, either.

10. More and more Americans are catching on as well.
Although not as many as I'd like. You Brits are far ahead of us when it comes to bullshit detection. We Yanks are just starting to catch on. Keep leading the way, alright? ;)

12. Before the next synthetic terror, the dramatic foiled attacks...
That was what a few of us concluded when we first started speculating about a 9/11 follow-on attack. The reasoning was that another "out of the blue" attack would tend to show BushCo as incapable of protecting us, so several dramatic foiled attacks would be necessary to prove competence, and then an actual attack to prove the threats are real.
