The war in Iraq prevented this attack
how??

People in this country need to wake up from their fear and realize that the way to fight terrorism is to prevent attacks.

Going to war in another country doesn't prevent attacks. It only makes people more intent on pulling off terrorism. Our foreign policy sucks.

But as proven today, police work and intelligence does prevent attacks. Oh and an added benefit, innocents and soldiers don't die.

All you media whores out there, please point out this little known fact to the masses.

2. What attack?
Look Lebanon now comes of the headlines, Blair diverts attention from MPs who are out to kick him out of office and Bushco starts the election campaign. Meanwhile the slaughter in Lebanon continues.

6. K&R
Well-stated. It's a simple point that seems lost on most under Bush**'s terra-terra-terra spell.
