Bush to test his impact on campaign trail
WASHINGTON - President Bush, running against a powerful head wind of opposition to the war in Iraq, this week begins road-testing his ability to influence the outcome of the fall elections despite his weakened political status.

Starting in Green Bay, Wis., on Thursday and campaigning in similar electoral hot spots over the next three months, the president will attempt to show that he still can be an asset for his party, as the White House insists, and not "an albatross around the neck of any Republican," as one Democratic operative predicts.

6. Great we the taxpayers pay for his political campaign.
It ain't going to work even if we do foot the bill. We here in a very red state, in a very red county of that same state, had a politician running ads that clearly indicated he supported the Liar-In-Chief 100%. He supported the bushes on the war, the failing economy, immigration and everything else. Guess what? The republic candidate never made it out of the primaries. He wasn't even close. The republic that won didn't even note on his ads that he was a republic.

7. You mean they can still find Puke candidates that will stand on the same
stage as Dubya during a campaign event? In their home states?

9. This taxpayer...
... hopes he spends as much as he want campaigning in person to support congressional candidates.

Unlike the right or the hand-wringers, I'm 99% certain that he in fact IS an albatross and I want him on the back of every Rebublican candidate possible.
