WTF! Romney is mobilizing the National Guard for Logan Airport?
for security purposes? WTF? He is jumping on the "gotta scare them into voting for me" bandwagon a bit early isn't he?

Next thing you know, he will claim that the tunnel issues aren't due to bad construction but rather a terrorist plot by some employee on site!

Sheesh.

4. Romney is bringing the Guard into Logan Airport
they will do trunk (as in car) and random people searches too.

He wants a show of guns in the airport.

the Tunnel I spoke of is the Ted Williams tunnel (the Big Dig) that had a collapse that killed a woman in a car recently.

2. I ust saw that. But I missed his Pres. website.
did He flash that along with his news conference?

Boys and girls, I believe that we have seen the replacement for George W. Bush. He will be pushed and promoted like Boy George, except he has always been sober.

6. Don't be fooled.
Mitt is just another Republican empty suit who has done nothing for Massachusetts except pose for photo-ops and travel around the country bad-mouthing his constituents.

11. Well gee how many times have these assholes warned us about an attack?
And the one time we actually needed to be warned, el pretzeldente was on vacation! I learned all about that August 6 PDB in Farenheit 9/11. Bet you haven't seen it though. (Just a hunch. :) )

But hey, go ahead, BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID. And be sure to let us know how that fear is working for ya.

Since I doubt you live in Mass., you have no idea what kind of a camera-pandering fool we have for a governor. He's an empty suit with good hair.

17. Let's face it, Logan has a less than sterling reputation
I wouldn't look at every governmental anti-terrorism action as a scare tactic. Logan is a very common landing point for flights from the U.K. and as such is a pretty attractive target.

I'd rather have them protecting us HERE, than fighting nameless terrorists OVER THERE.

24. I would rather have them here too but
why are they going to do trunk searches? Granted, a car bomb could do damage and hurt many, but why weren't they doing them yesterday?

Hell, we were just getting our nail files back, now we can't take our makeup or shampoo?

If these items are so dangerous on a plane, wouldn't it stand to reason that they are bad in the general population too? I mean, if you can mix a bomb with them on an airplane, couldn't you do the very same thing standing in a Starbucks or a CVS drugstore?
