It is a good feeling. Ney, a great feeling to see these repug asshats looking so very desperate.

This is the first time in my life that I've ever seen repugs so very interested in promoting a so called democrat. From politicians to pundits, they are desperate tho spin opposition to the war as some fringe position. They are desperate to defend the war apologists.

THEY are the fucking fringe now. It is not long until we see these neocons and their freak-show fundie buddies shoved right back into their box for another couple of decades. They know it. They see the writing on the wall and theyu want to puke.

I'll keep stepping on their fingers as they grasp at the ledge to keep from falling. I'll keep dropping rocks on them as they fall. We all will.

When all is said and done, this grotesque movement will be permanently discredited and the repugs will be forced to decide between staying marginalized for years or openly rejecting the war mongering Xtian influence in their party. The beauty thing is that, they will never make the right call on that. The religious right and the war mongers are all they have left. Old school conservatives gave up on these morons years ago and most will never return.

My parents are old school paleocons. My father was a republican page in the Iowa senate and state president of the Iowa young Republicans club in college. They go way back in the party. However, they do not believe in reckless war mongering. They do not accept the Falwell's and Robertson's of the world taking the Republican party from them. They are downright pissed. My mom even called me a couple of weeks back to suggest I do a new flash attacking thew religious right and their manipulation of events in the middle east for their end goal of preparing the ground for Jesus to return. I was a little surprised. But, not very. They have been increasingly sickened by what they see in the Republican party. They are now committed independents that did not vote for Bush either time.

They are not alone.

Smell the fear people. Look at the sweat. Watch as they tense up their beedy little rat eyes.

They have destroyed their party and all credibility once enjoyed by conservatives.

They are falling and we better keep kicking them down that hill. Never count them out until they are buried under their own lies and failed policies!

To quote David Brooks (in a rare moment of honesty), "Sometimes I think Bush is the Manchurian candidate, sent to discredit everything I believe in."

I'm not normally a believin' man, but I do believe you're right!!!

Here in Kansas, we have a Democratic governor and representative from the 3rd district. I'm certain we'll retain those two in November!

Also, a week ago Tuesday we voted to replace neo-con fascist fundies on the school board who were trying to put creationism into the school curriculum. We now have moderates who'll see to it that science, not Christian mythology, is the norm.
