Attention Islamic Fascists and Terrorists Everywhere: MacGuyver isn't real
It is just a TV show. The stories and actions performed on the TV Show MacGuyver are purely fictional.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Terrorists planned to use MP3 players and energy drinks to blow up as many as 10 jetliners bound for the United States, authorities said Thursday.

A senior congressional source said it's believed the plotters planned to mix a "British version of Gatorade" with a gel-like substance to make an explosive that they would possibly trigger with an MP3 player or cell phone.

I repeat: MacGuyver is not real.

...

Oh crap, did I just threaten Homeland Security? Maybe I should be locked up in a secret jail somewhere for exposing this huge secret...

2. Depends what they actually wanted to put in the energy drink bottle.
Liquid explosive + Gatorade dye + electric current from handheld electronic device = bomb.

It's understandable what the idea would be. Whether or not the terrorists in question could actually screw around with liquid explosives without blowing themselves to bits or making something that wouldn't work is another issue completely...

4. Bullshit?
If somebody told you the sequence of events leading to 9/11 would you have believed THAT? Why is it hard to believe? Jesus.

10. And what were those events exactly?
We haven't been told the truth about 9/11 and I expect that this story, while at the core is probably true, has been polished and prepped for maximum political play.

Bush knew FRIDAY this was going down. Our intelligence pushed the Brits to move today. I have no reason whatsoever to believe the official story of anything.

11. No. Because it's just as ridiculous.
That you invoke a ridiculous, untenable Dr. No narrative with plot hole large enough to fly a plane through to try to make another even more ridiculous narrative seem tenable is telling.

7. I'm hoping what CNN reported lacked a lot of context
and the plot they are foiling is a bit more realistic.

Don't know if Gatorade has the proper chemical qualities, but hey, I also choose to believe in the possibility of faeries/earth spirits, it makes me happy - the world is a dull place sometimes. :)
