OK Dems ... it's time point out that the GOP has FAILED ...

in the so-called "war on terror" - say it LOUD AND CLEAR, over and over again. They did NOT catch Bin Laden; the did NOT finish the job in Afghanistan; they started an illegal, unnecessary war in Iraq, which has created even more terrorists; and they have trampled on the Constitution and the civil liberties of all Americans in the name of "Homeland Security" yet have failed to convict even one person of terrorism.

Today's events prove:
A) We are NOT any safer than we were before 9/11. In fact, we're probably less safe.
B) The US is no longer capable of real "detective work" and has to rely on foreign intelligence agencies to protect the country.

Combine those two things with Katrina, which proved that the US is no longer capable of helping its citizens before, during or after an "attack" of any kind, no matter how much advanced warning they have, and there's only one conclusion that any rational human being can come to:

THE REPUBLICAN CONTROLLED GOVERNMENT HAS FAILED THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES BY DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO MAKE US SAFER OR MORE SECURE IN ANY WAY!!!

in Iraq instead of beefing up homeland security.

We have fired Arabic translators from our military and intelligence services because of their sexual orientation.

Every terrorist we kill creates a number of additional ones. But that is okay because this keeps the war machine chugging along.
