Q: Why wasn't the Senate Intelligence Committee informed?

If BushCo knew days in advance about the latest terrorist plot, was this information shared with the Senate Intelligence Committee and if not, why not?

But a senior White House official said that the British government had not launched its raid until well after Mr Cheney held a highly unusual conference call with reporters to attack the Democrats as weak against terrorism. No more, no less. The war was an issue, but it was his constant haranguing about it that got his ass in trouble. His blind devotion to Israel outweighed common sense, and he was gone.
