Yep, unloved Al is the official Republican in the running (as opposed to the guy who really is a Republican but won't admit it - right, Nomentum?). Sure, he's basically a sad sack, and just a sacrificial lamb, but since Rethuglicans across the land are falling over backwards to kiss Holy Joe Loserman's ass, poor Alan Gold er Schlesinger ain't gettin' no love. Heck, most Republicans don't even know they have a guy running for the office!

Sure, his website looks like garbage, but he's trying, and that's good enough for me!

Okay, he has no endorsements yet, but we all gotta start somewhere, right?

So, since we here at DU are a compassionate lot, I think we should dedicate this thread to saying something nice about this schmoe. Who knows, he could split the Lieberman/GOP vote.

I'll start by saying that, even though Lonesome Al's website looks like Loserman himself designed it, it does give him kind of an underdog image.
