"I thought we were fighting them in Iraq so we didn’t have to fight them over here. Today’s news shows how ineffective Bush’s catastrophic foreign policy has been. I felt that we should have gone into Afghanistan, but after that we really needed to strengthen our Home Land security. When Bush decided to attack Iraq, it weakened what we could do to secure ourselves."

1. We'll have to invade Britian. They're harboring terrorists.
We'll fight them over there so we don't have to here.

5. No, no, no
9/11 was pulled off by Suadis and we invaded Iraq.

Since this was done by Brits, we need to invade France. Hey, I'm sure they still have the old maps of Normandy. It'll be easy.

7. Thank you for the correction!
I almost supported a war against the UK when it is France that deserves our ire.

10. Are we back to "freedom fries" (the House just recently changed them back
to "french fries" in their cafeteria).

11. Oh jeeze.
Really? Must have been the anti-terror Democrats pushing for that?

6. Technically, it wouldn't have been "here" ... just "on the way 'here'".n/t

8. True, but the plan is that all terrorists have flocked to Iraq and are to
"distracted" to think and chew gum at the same time.

They should have been "on there way 'there'," no?

12. Apparently not. I guess Democrats were right. The war in Iraq is a
deadly distraction, not part of the war on terror.
