Any Idea Why The Shoe Bomber Didn't Go Into The Bathroom?
I have always found that totally bizzare.

Why would he sit right there and try to light the thing? Why not take it to the bathroom?

Also why matches? A lighter would have done the trick even in the seat.

I have never understood that. Strikes me as really odd.

Not enough oxygen to support a flame, let alone room to sit on the toilet and light your shoe....do I get a prize.
Say when I flew on Air Emerite (the Dubai airelines), they had men's and womens cologne in the rest room. Don't they know those things are as combustable as Uncle Leonard's gas?
Wonder if they will start screening passengers for gas?

11. I haven't flown on an airliner in...probably 10 years. The plane I fly
has a very small rest room but we don't care if people smoke in there. Or anywhere else
