Egyptians and terrorists and red alerts and ELECTIONS.
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 07:22 PM by republicansarewhores
Anyone else's bullshit detector go off today while Chucklenuts is off on vacation and "American authorities" shared intel with Great Britain to foil this attack right before November?

"This country is safer than it was prior to 9-11," Bush said from the airport tarmac here where he was appearing at events focused on the economy. "We've taken a lot of measures to protect the American people but obviously we're not completely safe. ... It is a mistake to believe there is no threat to the United States of America."

The president laid the blame for the foiled attack squarely on al- Qaida-type terrorism.

"This nation is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom, to hurt our nation," he said, his remarks carried live on television. "

Well then it may have been a good idea to continue the huint for Bin Laden, don't you think you dumb son of a bitch?

Oh wait... he can't be that stupid if he and the Bush Crime Family potentially pulled another fear inducing stunt to make everyone feel they are doing their jobs right?

The drama always happens when he's on vacation.

2. In defence of that Egyptian story
I did actually meet the six who showed up about a week before the story broke while hiking. They seemed very friendly, extremely flirty (with an American hiker), and utterly exhausted (due to the elevation). They were there with two people from MSU showing them the sites and had indicated they were on an exchange program that was going to last just a month. I mean that actually did happen.
