Foiled terror plots don't help Republicans or Democrats politicaly
Republicans and Joe Loserman are trying to use today’s foiled terror plot to their advantage but I personally don't think it helps them or even Democrats at all.

1. It shows we are still being attacked by terrorists (Bush's bogus war in Iraq hasn’t ended the attacks).

2. It shows these plots can be thwarted by law enforcement instead of attacking whole countries

3. Since no one was killed, no one will remember this after a week or two

4. Americans are getting wise to Republican's trying to control people with fear

5. I think Americans are starting to toughen up now realizing we will be living with this threat for a long time and we could be hit at any time. If we get hit and lose a few thousand people then we know we can weather through it and carry on, it's NOT the end of the world. It's tragic but not worth killing tens of thousands just to feel a little safer especially if such actions are probably sparking more terrorism.

In the end this won't have any effect on the November vote.

1. As long as the USA isn't attacked...
Then the Republicans can take advantage of the fear... After all *we* aren't being attacked in the US. As long as the attacks and terror is "somewhere else", it will have a political advantage in bringing it up...

2. It could benefit the Dems!
All they have to do is point out haw ShrubCo has FAILED! His foreign policy is wrong, it created more terrorism than it prevented, and America is NOT SAFE!

Come on people, What do YOU think the Pubs would do with an opportunity like this to destroy a Dem Prez??????

4. Yes, but they do further "de-construct" everyone's notion of "reality."
Some will regress, others will be freed by it. That's good for everyone, ir-respective of political party.
