Ah-ha! The corporate connection to the liquid ban...India flood and Coke
Call me crazy if you want, but after asking myself,
"Who benefits?" in the RED alert banning liquids
on airplanes, I did a little research.

Timeline-
Floods in India: 08/09/06
"Oil & Natural Gas Corp. said it closed a plant in the city that supplies most of the gas used in northern India, while Reliance Industries also closed several petrochemical plants."
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=516&e=2&u=/ap/20060809/ap_on_re_as/india_monsoon_flooding

I took another look at the advisory board of Coca-cola, parent to the Dasani water company.
Coke has major CFR members on it's board all of whom have ties to
Boeing and Bush.

Several major corps took a heavy hit in the flooding in India a few days ago,
including Coke (Dasani)

Now, two days later, they are banning all liquids on flights, which conveniently
only sell DASANI water as per contract with BOEING???

Hello?

Any one follow me here?

I FIRMLY believe there is a connection between
the August 9th flooding in India and this bogus
ban on liquids!!!
Talk about BIG bucks if you have to BUY your
water on your flights!

2. Hold up a sec!
Now, I agree, you're logic chain is convincing. However, Boeing has nothing to do with the contracts to supply water to the airlines scheduled flights. That is a contract between the airline and a beverage distributor. Besides, I have flown on many, if not most flights that served water other than Desani.

3. My brain is racing.....
The Dasani water company is one of the suppliers to
certain airlines. The Coca-cola advisory board has PLENTY of
connections to Boeing.

Sorry my mind is jumbled up right now form all the
links I have been following, but TRUST me
there is a corporate connection to the liquid ban and
corporate losses in India.

5. Link to Coke advisory board:

-Daniel Glickman
-Carla Hill
-Richard HolBrooke

Just to name a few of the usual suspects, ALL tied to the CFR and
BushInc.

6. Sorry, but I cannot just "trust" you.
Especially when I think you have it wrong and are looking for something that isnt there.

8. No problem-
I don't care if you trust "me."
I am going to continue to investigate the connections.
Follow the money and ask yourself,
"Who benefits"
when it comes to the liquid ban after the
India flooding, which just happens to benefit the
corporations most damaged by the floods.

12. Boeing just builds the planes
They don't handle the beverage contracts.

15. Sorry, I wasn't clear-
The folks on the Coke/Dasani advisory board
are the ones connected to Boeing and the
KKKorporate Bush KKKabal.

Dasani has plenty of contracts with the airlines.

4. So Coke losing a million or whatever guaranteed sales is a win for Coke?
I don't get your point at all. Either I'm dense, or your theory makes not a whit of sense.

7. Maybe I'm nuts...but I don't think so
I am convinced there is a connection.
The fact that they just happened to
uncover the plot they have known about for
a long time AND then suddenly ban liquids
on flights AFTER the flood in India hurt some
of the stock holders just seems a little too
convenient.

Humbly thinking out loud.

9. Dude! Get a grip.
I think you are making this "plot" grow only in your mind.

13. We are talking about the Bush administration...
So, no, I don't think I need to "get a grip."

The global elite take care of their own and
in light of the fiasco in India and how it affected
stock holders, coupled with the fact that
although they knew about the terrorist plot
and yet just happened to ban carry on liquids, TODAY,
I am highly suspicious of the timing and again,
just who stands to benefit.

What remains to be seen is whether or not the airlines
will start CHARGING for water.
If they don't, ignore me.
If they do, think again.

10. Good That You're Thinking - Try This - Did Anybody Make Lots of Money.....
today by short selling United, American, Continental and British Airways?

Remember - the controversy after 9/11 about all the short selling going on with United and American Airlines.

You know that somebody made a lot of money today with the knowledge that this was going to go down. Maybe it was Leiberman - and all those contributions he got from the Repugs.

You also know that somebody (*'s Cronies) will make money on this going forward. Maybe by selling water. Maybe by handling carryon luggage. Maybe something to protect laptops. Maybe some new scanning technology to determine liquid explosives or non-threatening materials that can be used to make a bomb on a plane.

You just got to believe that someone will make money off of this security alert today.

11. I'm with you on this one.
I started a thread on probable corporate motives earlier today (and dropped it in the Lounge by mistake), but I wasn't aware of these corporate specifics with Coke & Dasani.

Too bad. I actually like Dasani, when it comes to bottled waters. (Which I usually only drink when on the road, and that's not happening this summer due to the gas prices.)

14. Last time I flew, DASANI was all that was available.
Edited on Fri Aug-11-06 12:34 AM by BeHereNow
I refuse to buy Dasani OR coke because of the corporate
evil attached to both.
Did you know Coke drove something like
500,000 farmers off their land in India by
cutting off the water so they could make more
COKE?

I read a story about children in India who could not
find a glass of water, but ALL had plenty of coke to drink.
They were drinking coke because there was no
water available.
