What about those who howled when Howard Dean made the mistake of saying we should be more evenhanded in dealing with Israel and Palestine during the 2004 primaries? Do these same media pundits call right wingers single issue extremists because they demand their candidates be pro-life or sign a no tax increase pledge?

I don't think that lame extremist talking point got much traction here, and isn't worth talking about except to the degree the Democratic leadership seems to tacitly agree.

1. The "single issue" thing. When your country illegally invades another
it should be the main issue.

Joe Lieberman Group Puts Out a Blacklist of College Professors.

" The report documents 117 campus incidents as ``evidence'' of anti-Americanism. More than 40 professors are named, including the president of Wesleyan University, who suggested in an open letter that ``disparities and injustices'' in American society and the world can lead to hatred and violence."

Blacklisted for saying that? That is intimidation.

Edit: And from what I understand, students were encouraged to tell on the professors. My guess is when web bloggers got wind of this it started Joe's down fall.
