Hartford Courant LTTEs have been strongly anti-Lieberman!
here are a few samples:

Drawn To The Polls

When I read the article reporting that Sen. Joseph Lieberman's presence on the November ballot may draw more Republicans to the polls, I thought, "You betcha, right on" . I'll be going to the polls, all right, but to vote for Ned Lamont.

I am abandoning the Republican Party after more than 35 years to finally vote my conscience regarding the war in Iraq. As a college student in the 1960s, I thought I had seen it all, but I was very, very mistaken.

Moderate Positions Won Out

Rather than producing victories for far-left positions, Tuesday's Democratic primaries appear to have produced victories for moderate positions.

Ned Lamont, not Joe Lieberman, held views that are in line with the majority of Americans. For instance, Sen. Lieberman is a staunch supporter of the Iraq war, while America's support for the war hovers around 40 percent. Sen. Lieberman also said that hospitals should not be obligated to provide emergency contraception to rape victims. Is that view in line with the majority of Americans?

In Georgia, moderate views also triumphed as Cynthia McKinney's 9/11 conspiracy theories, race-baiting and police slugging caused her to lose her congressional seat.

It appears the only instance of extreme views having triumphed was in the Republican primary in Michigan, where Rep. Joe Schwarz lost his seat for supporting embryonic stem cell research - a view that is supported by about 70 percent of the American public.

1. Great letters. The Lamont campaign makes a great point today...
about the hacking claims-

Ummm … the Lieberman campaign sent out a mass email on the morning of the election. Further, they invited their entire list to attend a “victory party” at 5 PM … three hours before the polls closed.

Just sayin … let’s stop repeating that they didn’t have the ability to communicate with supporters via email.

I remember the breathless reporters saying Joe's camp had been UNABLE to use their e-mail.

2. How Rovian of the Lieberman campaign!
Next thing you know, Lieberman's campaign manager will accuse Lamont of bugging his office a few hours before a debate...
