Republicans always "Cut & Run" Nixon Did it in Vietnam, Reagan did it

in Lebanon, and Tony Snow just said George Bush Sr. did it in Iraq in 1991.

It was important that Nixon "Cut & Run" in Vietnam because Nixon allowed it to go on for far too long, with no end in site, with Americans facing many more casualties, in a civil war that was about to be lost.

Reagan was advised to leave Lebanon, but his macho hardheadedness refused, and stayed, then it directly cost the lives of 271 Marines who were killed by terrorist explosions in their barracks - Finally, right after that attack, Reagan immediately cut and ran...Reagan should of done it sooner as so many democrats were advising him to do. But right after the barrack attack Reagan invades Grenada, to change the story from Lebanon to the Grenada invasion...The ONLY reason for the bullshit invasion was to keep the Lebanon story out of the news...and it worked and the republicans knew that's all they have to do, create bullshit to change the lead story and divert attention from real news, and Karl Rove has become a master of it.

George Bush Sr. Cut & ran in Iraq according to Tony Snow, however it was the right thing to do as well, we were there under completely false pretenses, (remember the lies about the incubators) and the setup by Bush to get Iraq to go into Kuwait, to get us into war to increase his, (Bush Sr.) poll numbers. While we created sanctions, no fly zones and had ground inspectors making sure Hussein was never a threat for 12 years

But Sr., cowboy fascist son, Georgie knew Iraq was no threat but wanted to invade anyway, So he lied about WMD knowing Hussein was no threat, and never attacked us...However Jr. wanted, like daddy, to increase his sinking poll numbers, he wanted control of Iraq's oil fields, Georgie wanted bases in Iraq to invade oil rich Iran, he wanted billion dollar contracts for republican corporate donors & friends, he wanted to be a "war time president" so he could break laws and do as he pleased and he wanted to drain the money from our economy to kill off social programs and increase corporate profits to artificially stimulate the economy....If cut & run in this instance isn't necessary then what is? As our kids keep dying as our country goes further into debt that our kids will have to pay for, all for the military contractors who keep getting richer and Bush can hide behind a war to justify his law breaking.

Now were occupying Iraq during a civil war that Bush created and our soldiers are under constant danger of being killed - to protect the oil fields and keep "never ending war" for the "war time president"!!!

Regardless of the arguments about the facts, it is not in dispute that Reagan invaded Grenada.

And Bob Boudelang was a decorated hero in that historic war for freedom!

Seriously, many of us then and now consider the invasion of Grenada one of the biggest farces ever. It ranks just below Iraq and is a classic example of Republican led war. All bullshit.

7. That war was the original.... "Wag the Dog." That's the war...
in which that term was 1st used. So in addition to Reagan's... Cut & Run from Leb, he taught the world how to Wag the Dog, as well.

What a guy!

8. Have to agree with you, absolute republican lies and bullshit!!!
And they got away with it - just as the same people got away with Iran-Contra a couple of years later and are now running our State Department and believe as long as they change the story...They can feed the American public any bullshit and they'll buy it.

These are the exact same people now in BushCo who laughing know how they deceived the public and distorted the news...They just have to have control of the media, which they now own and have complete control of to get away with all their lies, and to just blame the democrats.

4. The first time Bush Sr. cut and ran
was during WWII when he jumped from his damaged plane and let his crewmates all go down in flames. This is nothing new for the Bushies. They put themselves first before everything and everyone else.

5. Reagan would not allow the Marines to put barricades around
their compound in Beirut because it would "project weakness." But after the Marines got bombed, Reagan sure did cut & run like a weak little sissy.

Similar to other short-sighted moves by stupid republicans. Colin Powell, as Chairman of the JCS, refused to send a mechanized unit to Somalia, after the commander in Somalia had requested it. Of course, after the Rangers got waxed, and 10th Mountain had to borrow mech vehicles from other countries, a mech brigade was sent to Somalia. Lest we forget, George Bush sent US forces into Somalia with just a month left in his term. Nice steaming pile to leave for your replacement.

Republicans just can't be trusted with our defense. They prefer lining their pockets and bank accounts with taxpayer dollars rather than giving a damn about the American people.
