Impeach them NOW do not wait

If, as Conyers has effectively has laid out, they have committed the crimes they are accussed of why are we waiting till the Dems have control again? These are very serious crimes against our citizenship that should be addressed immediatly. I realize that it would be a difficult task but that shouldn't stop us from doing the right thing. And waiting till we have all our ducks in a row is a stratigy doomed to fail in my opinion. We all need to get behind Conyers and do it NOW. If we don't we are just enabling Bushs mad rush to Armageddon. We don't have the luxury of waiting till November anymore. They have plans for November.

vote for impeachment?

I am seeing more surprising stuff lately. Seems to me that even the repubs are beginning to get a little fed up. Bet there are more than anyone is aware, especially after this fiasco that is unfolding.

WE HAVE TO TRY

in theory. My problem with it is this: if they try and fail now, will they be able to try again later when we have a majority? I'm not talking legality, or double jeopardy What I'm asking is, will the American people stand for two impeachment attempts politically?

I think we're only going to get one shot, so we should make it count. But I don't know what strategy would be most effective.

Difficult task? I guess you don't understand the process. It's not 'difficult', it's impossible.
The votes are not there. Period. End of story.

It would be stupid for them to shoot their wad now, when the outcome is certain.

You energy would be better spent working to get a Democratic majority in the house.

They have plans for November... need to catch them offguard. They are always several steps ahead... watch the increased smirks as Novemeber gets closer.

For all the talk around here, you would expect people would be clamoring for Impeachment on a daily basis. But instead you get lengthy posts by some who think they are political "experts" who say why we should NOT impeach for this or that bullshit reason. There is NO doubt in my mind that the only reason they are here is to solely WORK AGAINST IMPEACHMENT.

Because they KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that Impeachment WILL have an explosive impact on the American public! The public will sit up and pay attention when the criminals in D.C. are exposed, no doubt about that!

I am really sick and tired of waiting for the Dems in office to do the right thing. It is obvious that only a few like Conyers are working for the people. The rest of em are serving their corporate masters and can go to hell! :grr:
