I wonder where all this stuff is going. Now you can't carry personal toiletries, or almost anything. Nothing liquid is allowed. I think at some point we'll all have to strip naked and go through a cavity search just to be able to fly.
What is it all for? So we can keep crapping all over the world, and demanding them to snap into line for what we want, to be our religion, to support our oil companies? Personally the cost is vast and I don't think it is worth it. It isn't appeasement to just be a nice country, a good player on the world stage.
The real irony in all this is that they don't even bother to inspect any of the cargo that they put on the planes. How crazy is that? That is a hole as big as one of those IED bomb craters in Iraq in our security.
The real truth; we'll never be able to do enough to make ourselves safe, other than to stop Imperialism, and turning over a new leaf, only defending ourselves, and not attacking others. For a fraction of the cost we could help so many other countries in the world, rather than sell weapons to everyone, and watch them fight. It's a sad world where you have so many people who can't envision doing good in the world, or eventual peace. It isn't even a concept for some anymore, they laugh at the thought as if it is pie in the sky idealism. But without this hope, what is there? What are we working for?
