Open letter to our congrress critters
So I saw a spectacle unfold last night on my teevee that brought memories of events long ago. Events that also tested how far a government can push its people to give up its rights, and those events involved the German people in the 1930s, and we both know how that ended.... so we the brits (coverage was very different and it was a pleasure to see them question our use of islamo fascism, which is inaccurate unless you want to fight the good war again. that would be WW II for you)... yet what I saw sickened me.

Excuse me, but how much money have we spent with DHS? What is more? The Brits did cover this piece of trivia, our incessant so called news coverage did not... you know why the brits said no liquids? (and they believe this to be temporary unlike our DHS goons)... I will tell you why ... North Korean Agents brought a Korean Airliner down this way in the... wait for it, 1980s, mid 1980s. So ... what year is it, oh yes, 2006. So you are telling me we spent all this money to detect Cemtex, also successfully used in that infamous Pan Am Flight over Lockerbee but not on any other method that has been successfully used?

I call this bullshit of the greatest caliber. I wonder for how long will the American people continue to give up rights, in the name of false security. Reality is this country cannot be made 100% safe. No country can be made 100% safe. Anybody who has any experience with terror, the real deal, knows that a determined individual or individuals will attack at the time and place of their choosing. By the way I also saw the push for the Tyrannical measures that the GOP loves (US Patriot Act) One of these days they will once again push for the Alien and Sedition Act, I am sure of it.

In closing the Founding Father, whom the Republicans love to wrap themselves around, wrote things like this. "Those who are willing to give liberty for a little safety are neither free or safe." They had a better idea of what was to be free, since they has just finished fighting a real tyrant. Well, reality is we have our modern tyrant, and coincidentally he is also named George. And this George has used phrases like this... "it would be so much easier if this was a dictatorship, as long as I am the Dictator." that was in 2000, and that day the President told all of us he wanted to be king. these actions we are seeing are those of a tyrant, not a s democrat.

In closing, you know the Mexico City Airport after 9.11 they adopted many of the techniques used at Ben Gurion. They have the traffic of Chicago or JFK and the safety record is far superior, and they are far less intrusive than any Airport in the US... far less intrusive... and they also do it with a smile, imagine that.
