The Repubs wish to remain in power more than the Dems wish to regain it?
I heard that Bush is going to make 200 stops in Repub districts between now and election day. They are going balls to the walls. They are in full campaign mode. They are pulling no stops. Democrats are weak on defense and the Repubs will protect you. Nothing else occupies their minds at this time. Their followers say that the Democrats will do or say anything to "regain" power. The opposite is the truth. The Repubs will say or do anything to maintain power and to escape conviction. Anything....

2. Man, that's just window dressing...Diebold is gonna take care of
everything. This 200 stops is just for the cameras, to build a base of "how hard the President campaigned" when the midterms SUPRISINGLY swing the Repugs way. Throw in the UK terror plot and one or two more well planted "wag the dog" moments, and us Dems will be holding a soggy sandwich on Nov 3rd.
