Am I the only one that listens to Right Wing radio...?

and enjoys yelling at the radio?

I have some sick desire to do this. I feel embarrased sometimes when I get going and other drivers look at me.

limbaugh about five minutes a month, depending on where I might be driving to. I do shout at the TV news when bush is on for any reason. My rational wife humors me.

That's the only thing that could me calm during that garbage.

I'm a believer that one must keep their allies close and their enemies closer. By knowing what the weekly talking points are ginned up by Rove-Co., it makes me think deeper on how to counter them. I'm a gal of average intelligence but a lot of curiosity - it's not all that difficult to counter RushBo's filthy propaganda. :hi:

I'm not prone to bursts of outrage, but I found myself yelling at Meet the Press last weekend and that was at a Democrat. I may have to stop tivoing that too. If I can't handle that, I can't handle RW radio.

The only way to counter these thugs, is to listen and understand their foolish arguments. That way, you can argue and speak with calm reason---when you verbally enlighten them.

Did you listen to Glen Beck today? I listened for about 20 mins in the car. He's all hyped up about imminent terror attacks. He was talking about Aug 22nd as a target date--because of some Muslim religious holiday or something.

He sure had his listeners/callers whipped into a frenzy.

I used to listen to Limbaugh quite a bit. However, he's really bad lately. He's not even entertaining anymore. Too many Vicodin sandwiches, I guess.

My boss keeps WSB radio on all day -- 5 hrs of Boortz every day. The only redeeming factor is that I also get Clark Howard (a consumer advocate).

No, he's gone way beyond his comedy routines to blatant, shameless lying and paranoia. He isn't even remotely funny any more. Any time I've listened lately, I feel I should be calling the police or the FBI instead of his call-in lines. I'm all about free speech, and wouldn't advocate supressing even Rush's right to express his views. But when do "views" cross the line into slander and lies that are harmful to America's security? Maybe I should ask Ann Coulter.

for the high comedy and to hear what propaganda they're trying to sell. Lately it was pretty funny. They were in a real quandary. They didn't want to come right out and endorse a Dem candidate (Loserman) but yet they wanted him to win over Lamont. That was funny. They devoted many hours of airtime to why Joe should win. That was reason enough for me to favor Lamont and I don't even live anywhere near Connecticut.
