Michael Franti/Spearhead Fans Check In Here

Have you heard of the great music and progressive lyrics of Spearhead and Michael Franti?

I'm guessing many of my fellow "Spearits" are aware there is a new Spearhead album called Yell Fire! and the band is touring extensively now. If you didn't know, or if you are new to Michael Franti and Spearhead, check out their website at http://www.spearheadvibrations.com. In particular, I want to call your attention to the title track of the new album. For me it is completely energizing, a real adrenalin rush, and great reinforcement of my own writing about peaceful revolution (it is necessary, NOW!). You can't listen to either "Yell Fire" or "Everyone Deserves Music" and not be moved (in several senses of that word, including dance). Even if you're occassionally provoked, you'll be moved! : )

EDM was my first Spearhead album, found "Bomb The World (Armageddon version)" on shockedandawful.com's protest music pages, and it caught my ear. Looking forward to fetching Yell Fire.
