My Fun Liberal Surprise this Morning

I'm away from NJ, having been visiting my family in a small town in Nebraska. Needless to say, this place is a red state and I've had numerous experiences during my time here, from hearing the repuke candidate Pickett say in an ad that the "liberal Kennedy Democrats must be stopped!" (LOL, referring to DINO Nelson) :puke: to actually hearing a republican here say that they thought we were in Iraq because we were fighting for their freedom. :think:

My brother's I'net crashed, so no service. But what a nice surprise when I logged on to the computers in the library this a.m. The menu bar reflected patron visits to such liberal sites as mydd.com, buzzflash, and liberaloasis.com. Huffington Post, also.

Makes you wonder what's going on in smalltown rural America, heh.

Seems the neocons are starting to understand the power of the Internets and the fact that the truth is sifting into little corners of America they thought they had blinded.
