TSA answers questions, wants Feedback.

Couple samples that I found amusing
Question: Do you have the ability to detect liquid explosives?
Answer: We have several methods to detect explosives at the checkpoint. We also have the ability to detect liquids through our screening process.

TSA employees are trained to be able to tell liquid from solid or gas!

Question: What should the American people know?
Answer: We ask every passenger to be alert and report suspicious activity to authorities.

duh obviousness + be alert! Watch for people getting into crop dusters that don't belong there!

Several answers they have thrown together to try and help during this confusing time, asking for feedback on if the answers actually answer. Nothing on cargo screening yet.

10. I reject the whole idea that there's a reactionary solution.
Edited on Fri Aug-11-06 03:17 PM by longship
The terrorists (????) just love pulling our chain.

Problem: A guy puts a bomb in a shoe.
Reactionary solution: Airports make people take off their shoes for scanning.

Problem: Some guys threaten to use cosmetic bottles to smuggle explosives on board.
Reactionary solution: Airports forbid all liquids on board.

Future problem: Some guys figure out how to hoax airlines into thinking that they have discovered explosive underwear, baby diapers, or virtually anything else that would throw a huge monkey wrench in the system.
Reactionary solution: ????

If I were wanting to cause the maximum terror, I would keep this kind of shit up. Terrorists no longer need to actually commit terror acts to get precisely what they want. They can now terrorize the whole world simply by merely plotting an event. And even if that event was actual or not, simply the plot itself is enough to cause sweeping changes.

These guys are laughing at us.
