"CHANGE" the one word Campaign Theme for Democrats....
We need to adopt the old line "Are you better off today than you were 6 yrs ago?"

"If you are tired of staying the course, vote for Change. Vote Democratic."

1. Nancy Boyda is running in Kansas with the slogan
"Nothing will change until we change Congress" She's running against incumbent RRR Jim Ryun the former Olympic miler for the 2nd Congressional District.

2. EVERY politician says CHANGE. It's as meaningless as "I'll work for you!"

On edit: This was actuall directed toward the OP.

Bad, boring slogans. The republicans say "DEMOCRATS WILL KILL YOU AND EAT YOUR BABIES!" and we come up with "Change."

Cool. *yawn*

3. Well, it *is* resonating with the voters around here
I understand that your reply is directed to the OP but I'm going to reply to you anyway, just because I believe in Nancy. Nancy is the real deal and a lot of people have commented that her slogan gives them hope that we can change things. She's a good Christian woman (I'm not but it is helping her in Ryun's district) so she talks the talk. She used to work in the pharm industry and got fed up with it and the way they treat the elderly and the poor. She's refused help from the DCCC because the last time she ran they took over her campaign. She's told them "no" this time and is running a pretty effective grassroots campaign. She's also refused money from AIPAC. The Deanics love her and are working hard for her.

4. I prefer "Rpublicans are weak"
Republicans think America is too weak to defeat terrorists without giving up freedoms.

Republicans are too weak to defeat terrorists without undermining America.
