If the country is on red alert or orange then wouldn't it make sense to...
check packages and baggage at the malls , theaters, entertainment venues, hospitals, trains, buses and other places where large groups of people gather. If terrorists are really in this country they have many places to commit terrorist acts. I have been looking at places that are vulnerable every since 911 and I have not seen bush do anything because he can't and he isn't protecting anyone but himself and his family.

1. you're absolutely right. the possible targets are limitless
why they use planes to instill fear all the time is beyond my ability to understand.

13. that's the BFEE (and friends) agenda - the possible targets are limitless.
as what it was meant to be.

'Fear', a new cologne soon to be marketed, and bought.

3. I'll even take this a step further...
IMO, this is a complete exercise in CONTROL. Why can't someone bring a chapstick on a plane yet only 10% of our check-in luggage across the country is scanned for bombing materials? That means all of these long lines and "security" checks really mean NOTHING, eh? Who cares if I have a lipstick tube with me if the belly of my plane is FULL OF EXPLOSIVES? Think about it.

One more thing to add: Joe says he's tough on terror. Yes? Then why is only 10% of our baggage being scanned while he sits as a RANKING MEMBER of the Homeland Security Comm.? Liar.

Yes?

I wouldn't be surprised if Parliament isn't ready to throw a vote of NO CONFIDENCE Blair's way. Just another plausible reason...

9. I also forgot about the ports..
and when I am out and about I look at the possiblities,so we know that the terrorists are looking at them too. I have thought of others and they wonder why some wouldn't believe the bushit, especially when blair is his poodle. Part of what they have said may have been true but a lot has been embellished and is being used to boost up bush's support with his base.

12. Don't forget...these "leaders" have crossed the last line with many.
I'm not trying to be a cynic. I'm just looking at it from THEIR POV. Who wins with this type of "control"? Eh?

21. I said one year...they're 4 months into the 6 mos. they have to
"identify buyers", and they have finally started to circulate the prospectus. So that's sure not on schedule.

11. Does this mean that DHS is now defending...
...all of those 100,000+ 'high-risk' national monuments and such that came out on that list last month?

Will the Catalepsyville Toejam Festival have National Guard protection? Will my supplies of pork and apples be uninterrupted? What about Amish Popcorn? I can't sleep until I know the Amish Popcorn is safe.
